Drone footage shows years of damage to earthquake-struck Christchurch cathedral – video

Ten years after an earthquake hit Christchurch in New Zealand and left 185 other people lifeless, a big rebuild of town’s cathedral is beneath approach. As a part of the mission, a drone survey from 2019 has published intensive injury to the historical construction, with rubble littered across the development and chairs nonetheless strewn around the ground. When the cathedral’s tower fell it unfolded the development to the weather, with hundreds of pigeons since taking on the gap, whilst water ingress has led to additional injury. The cathedral’s rebuild is anticipated to be finished in 2028
