A group of German-Swiss researchers has discovered that microscopic debris of plastic are falling out of the sky with snow within the Arctic.
Researchers accumulated snow samples from the Svalbard islands the use of a low-tech means – a dessert spoon and a flask. They discovered greater than 10,000 of them in step with litre of melted snow.
