Western Australia earthquake: south-west region shaken by 5.6 magnitude quake

A five.6 magnitude earthquake has been felt in Western Australia’s south-west area.

The Joint Australian Tsunami Caution Centre detected the earthquake simply prior to 1pm native time on Sunday.

The WA Bureau of Meteorology stated the quake used to be centred close to Lake Muir.

There is not any tsunami danger to the Australian mainland, island or territories, the tsunami caution centre stated.
