Prosecutors say tennis broadcaster and trainer Justin Gimelstob pleaded no contest to misdemeanor attack for attacking a former buddy in Los Angeles on Halloween 2017.
The district lawyer’s workplace says the 42-year-old former professional participant used to be sentenced Monday to 3 years of probation, 60 days of neighborhood provider and a 12 months’s value of anger control categories.
Prosecutors mentioned Gimelstob attacked Randall Kaplan from at the back of as they trick-or-treated with their children on Oct. 31, 2017. The cause is unknown.
In a commentary to the court docket Monday, Kaplan mentioned Gimelstob struck him more than one instances and threatened to kill him. Kaplan’s spouse, Madison, described being terrified as she witnessed the attack.
Gimelstob’s attorney says he pleaded no contest “to transport on along with his skilled existence.”
