Queen Latifah to receive Harvard black culture award

Different honorees come with poet and educator Elizabeth Alexander, Secretary of the Smithsonian Establishment Lonnie Bunch III, poet Rita Dove, co-founder of Black Leisure Tv Sheila Johnson, artist Kerry James Marshall and Robert Smith, founder, chairman and leader govt of Vista Fairness Companions.

The award is known as after Du Bois, a student, creator, editor, and civil rights pioneer who become the primary black scholar to earn a doctorate from Harvard in 1895.
