NBA player J.R. Smith says he ‘whooped’ a man who broke his car window amid L.A. unrest

On Sunday, Smith stated to a digital camera in a video he shared that “any such little [expletive] white boys didn’t know the place he was once going and broke my [expletive] window in my truck. Broke my [expletive] — it is a residential house, there wasn’t no shops over right here, none of that [expletive] — broke my window.

“I chased him down and whooped his ass,” Smith persisted. “So if the photos comes out and y’all see it, I chased him down and whooped his ass. He broke my window.”

Of the greater than 2,500 arrests over the weekend associated with protests in two dozen U.S. towns, just about a 5th had been in Los Angeles, consistent with a tally through The Washington Publish.
