Fleetwood Mac back on Billboard charts thanks to meme

By no means underestimate the ability of a meme. Fleetwood Mac’s 1977 music “Goals” has had a unexpected resurgence in reputation after a person synced the music as much as a video of a black school dance team, The Golden Women from Alcorn State College in Mississippi, acting.

A Twitter person uploaded the video of The Golden Women dancing towards “Goals,” which in an instant went viral. Now, the music off Fleetwood Mac’s “Rumours,” which was once simply inducted into the Nationwide Recording Registry, has made Billboard’s Scorching Rock Songs chart for the second one week in a row, taking the No. 16 slot after showing at No. 14.

The unique video was once taken closing 12 months, appearing The Golden Women dancing to the beat of the Alcorn State College Marching Band.
