Disgraced rugby famous person Israel Folau has signed for Catalan Dragons, months after being sacked from his earlier membership over feedback about homosexual other people.
The French membership stated they’re happy to signal him to a one-year contract with “instant impact”.
Folau instructed the membership’s site: “I am a proud Christian, my ideals are non-public, my purpose isn’t to harm any person and I will be able to no longer be making additional public remark about them.
“I stay up for my go back to the good sport of Rugby League with the Catalans Dragons.”
Final April, Folau posted on social media that “hell awaits” for “drunks, homosexuals, adulterers, liars, fornicators, thieves, atheists, idolaters”.
His $5m (£2.7m) contract with the Wallabies and the Sydney-based New South Wales Waratahs used to be terminated in Might.
In November, he related bushfires in New South Wales and drought to Australia’s choice to legalise same-sex marriage and abortion.
The 30-year-old, handing over a sermon on the Reality of Jesus Christ Church in Sydney, stated “God is talking” to Australians and referred to as for the regulations to be reversed.
He stated: “God’s phrase says for a person and a girl to be in combination, one guy and one lady within the covenant of marriage to be in combination.
“Abortion; it is now OK to homicide and kill unborn youngsters they usually deem that to be OK.”
After being sacked, Folau introduced an unfair dismissal case which used to be settled in December.
Rugby Australia stated: “Whilst it used to be no longer Rugby Australia’s purpose, Rugby Australia recognizes and apologises for any harm or hurt brought about to the Folaus.
“In a similar way, Mr Folau didn’t intend to harm or hurt the sport of rugby and recognizes and apologises for any harm or hurt brought about.”
