Team of workers Sister Pearl Corkhill MM, Australian military nursing carrier, of Tilba, NSW. Corkhill have been transferred to No 38 Casualty Clearing Station in France, which two times suffered heavy German air raids all through the week of 27 July 1918. One bomb wrecked the sterilising room and others fell inside the camp. Corkhill used to be on evening accountability on the time. Sister Corkhill’s medals are within the choice of the Australian Struggle Memorial.
